Years ago, I found a nifty little hexagonal rusted washer on the side of the road and kept her.
I loved the texture, shape, and rawness of it. Over the years I would try to incorporate her in to various designs, but nothing ever seemed just right.
When I started doing my own silver and gold castings, I decided to cast my little hex beauty and work her into my creations. That's when the magic happened.
This iteration is intentionally imperfect, a little bit of the hexagon incomplete to give her a little edge. I torched the ring band jus to the point of melting and immediately cooled it to give an overall effect of being just saved from fire.
Due to the unique nature of the casting process, this ring is one of a kind (just like you!) and cannot be resized.
