I LOVE peridot. It’s such a punchy green- reminds me of limes and cacti- and it just goes with everything.
Especially, black!
This peridot specimen actually contains magnesium iron borate inclusions called Ludwigite, so named for the geologist who discovered the mineral. They shoot across the peridot like spindly black rockets creating an absolutely punk rock stone.
I set it in sterling silver and dropped it in the middle of a sparkling hematite beaded choker.
